Romelle is a contemporary artist from Detroit based in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her work is a vibrant exploration of color, material, and mixed-media techniques. With a background in abstraction and muralism, she incorporates bold applications of spray paint, neon, and machine-stitched canvas. These nontraditional materials reflect a visual language informed by graffiti, as well as the physical & cultural textures of her surroundings.

Shaped by her time in Detroit and, more recently, Mexico, Romelle’s work engages themes of place, transition, and community. Through material experimentation and process-based making, she explores deeper forms of healing and renewal.
